Contingent Cargo Liability

As the owner of a road transportation company, you sub-contract loads to other carriers for delivery of goods. As such, you need contingent cargo liability insurance. As insurance brokers specializing in road transportation, our role is to ensure that your coverage extends to contingent cargo liability. Your contingent coverage will kick in if the carrier’s cargo policy doesn’t pay out in the event of a claim. This could happen, for example, if the carrier’s policy is inactive or the insurance certificate fraudulent. Additional coverage for optimal protection can also be recommended, including Errors and Omissions insurance and Automobile insurance QPF #6 (non-owned formula).
